In honour of our National Heros,

A collection of intimate one-on-one conversations with a variety of war survivors, providing a glimpse into their most vivid, and often difficult, memories during their time of service. The stories promise to educate, inspire and touch viewer’s hearts.

“The goal of this project is to provide veterans the opportunity to express their feelings to help Canadians understand the depth of their struggle and sacrifice,” explains Jocelyn Vieth, Digital Storyteller and Founder of Your Digital Legacy.

“This collection intends to bridge the generational disconnect between those who experienced war first-hand and those who have become accustomed to the values and beliefs which soldiers fought to preserve. In the video, the veterans define ‘sacrifice’ and share what they hope younger generations will remember.”

Use of the video is encouraged to keep these memories alive and the conversation going. Downloadable copies of the video are available below the video on VIMEO directly.
